Now come some views on the road heading north to Wendover. Looking east into Utah, we first see the Bonneville Salt Flats. This is a few miles south of Wendover.
The vast size of the salt flats become apparent as we draw near. - This is looking east into Utah. Approaching Wendover. Casinos. Every town on the Nevada state line has casinos. - As in Tahoe, the casinos here are right up against the state line. And there is the state line. The white truck is coming out a casino parking lot. - Utah allows parking lots but not gambling halls.
This will be our view for the next 70 miles. The salt flats slowly get more moist and eventually become the Great Salt Lake.
