The view from the top of the steps as we descend the crater.

We continue down the winding trail.
We begin our drive around the island of Oahu in a counter-clockwise direction. - The southeast part of the island has lots of lava rock. We stopped at various view points along the highway. A close up of Bill with his hair blowing in the wind.
We saw another blow hole, like the one we saw on Kauai. This camera caught our eye. It's a widescreen high definition - video camera, the first consumer HD camera we've seen. - The viewfinder had a 16x9 aspect ratio, - and the lens could zoom way in and way out. We ask about the camera. It's the Sony HDV and they - bought it in Taiwan for the equivalent of $5,000 US. Views seen as we travel north along the eastern side of the island.
