This is the view you see looking east from Twin Peaks. That's the city of Oakland in the distance across the bay. We pointed out how you can easily see our home from the observation area. It's just to the right of the red X. Our next stop was the Golden Gate Bridge where it was cool and foggy. We're ready to take a walk on the bridge. This is a "selfie" that Larry took on the bridge with George and Bill behind him.
This tanker was headed under the bridge and out to sea. We're back at the bridge observation area. The next day was sunny and warmer when we went to Fisherman's Wharf. - This is Pier 39 where lots of other people had the same idea. The carousel at Pier 39 At the end of Pier 39, past the shops and restaurants, you get a beautiful view of the bay. - In the distance you see, l to r, Tiburon, Mt. Tamalpais, Alcatraz and Angel Island.
