I try taking a selfie with the National Monument in Dam Square.
The monument memorializes the victims of World War II.

One of the many canals of Amsterdam. Note that wherever you look you see bicycles here. It's Pride Week in Amsterdam so there are banners and flags all over. Looking down Warmoesstraat, where many gay businesses and bars are located. Further down Warmoesstraat
RoB Amsterdam, a leather and fetish store And just down the street, Mr. B, another leather and fetish store. - Both stores are well know around the world. 90 Warmoesstraat is the home of the Amsterdam Eagle bar Thursday, July 30 - I'm on my way to Centrall Station to take the train to Frankfurt, Germany. - I will return to Amsterdam in two days for the Pride Parade. - Can you believe the number of bicycles here? I'm on the train crossing the Rhein River near Cologne, Germany, where I got - this shot of Great St. Martin's Church.   It is not the grand Cologne Cathedral - that is so well known.   I was looking for it, but didn't see it from the train.
