I'm on my way to Centrall Station to take the train to Frankfurt, Germany.
I will return to Amsterdam in two days for the Pride Parade.
Can you believe the number of bicycles here?

I'm on the train crossing the Rhein River near Cologne, Germany, where I got - this shot of Great St. Martin's Church.   It is not the grand Cologne Cathedral - that is so well known.   I was looking for it, but didn't see it from the train. A view of the German countryside from the train I met our friend Steffen Bretzke at the Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, - the main train station.  My thanks go to Steffen for helping me - with these photo descriptions for the time I was in Germany. A view looking toward downtown Frankfurt, with the subway entrance in the foreground. This is a wide view of the Frankfurt skyline.  On the left, you see the Commerzbank tower. - The Commerzbank is Germany's second largest bank.  The tall building with the radio tower - on the right is the Maintower building, home of the public savings bank for the states of Hessen - and Thuringia.  We'll soon be going to the top of the Maintower building to check out the view.
The symbol for the European Central Bank, in front of the Eurotower, - the location of the former ECB headquarters building in Frankfurt. - It used to be the home of the European currency, the Euro. We're approaching the Maintower building, where we will - take the elevator up to the viewing platform at the top. This is the view from the top of the 56 floor Maintower building looking west. - The building on the left is the tower of Deka-Gruppe, a company - providing mutual funds, and on the right the Deutsche Bank towers. Moving counter-clockwise, we see the main train station with the Main River on the far left. You see a better view of the Main River here.  Note the white area above the tall - buildings far away in the background.  That is Frankfurt's international airport.
