A view of the snowy Sierra

Topaz Lake on the Nevada-California state line The Walker River winds along the highway In places we get fairly close to the snow.
The first summit is Devil's Gate at 7,519 feet above sea level. - It was cold and windy, as you can see by Larry expression. We dipped down a little than started climbing again. This is Conway Summit, the second one we went over, at 8,138 feet. Not much snow was left here. The Summit Restaurant is still closed for the season.
