Now we have gone to Seven Falls.
Note the long stairway that climbs up among them.

NEXT
This sign told us the property owners had named - some of the falls after themselves. Between us note the stairway going up by the falls across the canyon. We stopped and rested a lot as we climbed the stairway. - We weren't used to the 7000 foot elevation! The stairs got less steep and had shorter sections near the top. The view from the top of the trail. - We could see Colorado Springs below us.
Time to head back down. This is the Royal Gorge bridge near Canon City, Colorado. - Note the rail line by the river at the bottom. We did not pay the ridiculous price of $14 - to walk on the bridge since we have a much bigger bridge - at home which we can walk on for free. People went by on rafts - running down the river! We've reached the Continental Divide!
In western Colorado we saw the most beautiful rainbow - either of us have ever seen! It was a double rainbow. And it touched the ground on both ends. - Great as these photos are - they just don't do it justice. The rainbow was incredibly bright. - About a third of all the drivers on the road - had pulled off to take photographs! We still cannot believe the full range - of colors in that rainbow nor their brightness.
