Our next stop is at the Connemara Marble Workshop in Moycullen.

 
The owner of the company gives us a talk about the marble - works and explains where the marble comes from. We take the motorway back to Limerick.  Back at our hotel we get this shot of the neighborhood and fields beyond. Another view of the River Shannon This evening we're going to a traditional Irish dinner and festival at Bunratty Castle.
Before dinner we get to wander through the Folk Park which has closed for the day. Helen, Phil, Winston and Jan sat across from us at the Irish dinner. The Master of Ceremonies and band perform a program of Irish music and dance Saturday, August 20 -- We drive through Adare, known for its thatched roof cottages.
We continue southwest toward Killarney driving through nice suburban towns along the way. We reach the town of Killorglin on the River Laune where we find this interesting bridge and beautiful garden A bronze statue of King Puck in Killorglin.  Every year on August 10 a group goes up into - the mountains and catches a wild goat.  This starts the King Puck Fair and the queen of the - fair, chosen from the local schools, crowns the goat This is a ruin of a former castle.
