Unlike most Moab area hikes, the Negro Bill hike has lots of shade, - thanks to the creek's vegetation and to the high cliffs on each side.
We've arrived at the end of the canyon. - Sheer walls block any further passage. Time for lunch!
Now hiking back out. While taking this photo of Larry, Chuck said, 'Get one of me there, too!' As I began to take this photo, only Larry's tummy was visible in the viewfinder. - I teased him about his belly sticking out and asked him to step back. - We were already laughing when he stepped backwards and tripped on a rock - that happened to be there! He fell on his butt, but only his pride was injured, - and he had no trouble hiking out to the car.
