This interesting structure was located on the shore of Lake Superior in Marquette.
It's old railroad ore dock that was used for loading iron ore into a boat docked below.

This is a view of the lake side park where we stopped to swim. Our next stop was for smoked fish at the Hog Island Country Store. John S. and Bill were together in the Saturn, Larry and John L. were together in our car - as we cross the Mackinac Bridge that connects upper and lower Michigan. We then drove north to Suttons Bay and Wild Cherry Resort, the park where the Bursiels are living.
