This interesting structure was located on the shore of Lake Superior in Marquette.
It's old railroad ore dock that was used for loading iron ore into a boat docked below.

This is a view of the lake side park where we stopped to swim. Our next stop was for smoked fish at the Hog Island Country Store. John S. and Bill were together in the Saturn, Larry and John L. were together in our car - as we cross the Mackinac Bridge that connects upper and lower Michigan. June 27 we just hung out at John and John's home. - June 28: John L., Bill and John S. at a roadside monument near - Kewadin, Michigan, that has a stone from each county in the state. June 29: Sue Bursiel, Larry's sister, who we met in Traverse City, Michigan. - Here we're having brunch at the Omlette House. We then drove north to Suttons Bay and Wild Cherry Resort, the park where the Bursiels are living.
