We head back down in a gondola Another view of Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu from the gondola We begin a drive south along Lake Wakatipu This is the southernmost point of our trip, where we turn off - Highway 6 into Kingston at the southern tip of Lake Wakatipu. - This is the farthest south either of us have ever been. The Kingston Flyer, a steam locomotive - used for daily trips through the mountains
