We spent the night in Dubuque, Iowa, then stopped at the
AAA office for maps. While Bill was inside Larry spotted a bunny...

... and lots of television transmission towers. Crossing the Mississippi River as we leave Iowa We enter Illinois on the other side of the river.
Thursday afternoon we settle into the Chicago Hyatt - Regency Hotel for the International Mr. Leather convention. -  Here we find Larry getting his boots shined by Andrew. On Saturday, May 28, Larry hosted a Hot Boots - party at the Cell Block for users of his web site. -  Here is the group that gathered for dinner before the party. Here you see us with the group at dinner. Bill with Bill and Chris from Chicago at the party. The three windows on the top floor left are the location of - Bill and Larry's first apartment together at 3406 West Foster Avenue. Monday, May 30 - We left Chicago and drove to Mattoon, Illinois, to visit Bill Rauwolf. - We took an afternoon walk near a lake where we spotted lots of ducks.
