Then out of nowhere came two subway or el cars!
We managed to photograph the second one as it went by.
The ones by Wrigley Field seemed less out of place!

NEXT  
The car is half in Nevada and half in Utah. - Look over the front windshield and you can see that - signs, fences, and survey stakes don't agree on a precise point. Two states to go! Note that the word 'DAYLIGHT' can be removed. It's green again! And we're in California! As often is the case with mountain passes - there was a small marshy pond as we topped the Sierras.
It was nice to once again be where there is WATER. And we are home. San Francisco's fog rolls - over Twin Peaks as we roll into town.
