Outside Rotorua we visit one of many active thermal areas in the region, - offering sights like you'd see at Yellowstone National Park We took a walking tour of the thermal area Here you see steam rising from hot pools There were a lot of different colors seen in the pools The colors are generated from the minerals in the soil
You could feel the heat radiating from the water The pools were large shallow bodies of boiling water We wondered whether the sign was put there - before or after the hole Overlook of the many pools below Walking through the steam
