We visit Arrowtown, a restored mining town

Bill next to some of the restored buildings A pretty park in Arrowtown Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus... We head north on Highway 6 passing several - beautiful lakes like this one, Lake Hawea And this one, Lake Wanaka
The scenery was fantastic! We stopped many times to observe the views We saw streams falling down the mountainsides... We crisscrossed the river several times - as we wound our way down the canyon We saw beautiful water falls...
...splashing into the clear running river We stopped for a hike in the woods A marsh. We're now at sea level. We arrive at the west coast of New Zealand near Haast Another view of the coast and the Tasman Sea
