March 31 - The next morning we notice these interesting cloud formations. We're now on the south side of the island looking at - the Spouting Horn Blow Hole that's west of Poipu. The waves come in under the lava rock and the water - shoots up into the air through a hole in the lava. Much of the coast here is lined with lava rock.
This is the African tulip tree with its bright orange flowers. The color of the flowers really caught Larry's eye while driving along the coastal highway. The trees were seen in many places on Kauai. Hanapepe River Canyon as seen from a roadside overlook.
