We're going to drive out to that lighthouse next. This area is all part of the Kilauea National Wildlife Refuge - and all of those white spots are birds. These are nenes, the state bird of Hawaii.

Some of the coastal mountains as seen from the road. We're back at our motel enjoying the warm evening breezes. The sunset as seen from the lanai of our motel room. March 31 - The next morning we notice these interesting cloud formations.
