After a relaxing dinner, we check out the merry-go-round in Piazza della Repubblica.

Bright and early the next morning we have reservations for the Uffizi Gallery seen here. Palazzo Vecchio -- a Florentine landmark and former home of the Medici Family Standing in the courtyard of the Uffizi Gallery looking north with - the castle turret of the Palazzo Vecchio seen in the distance. The rear of the cathedral has a huge distinctive clock At 1 pm we had reservations to the Accademia to see - the famous Michelangelo's David.  We found a long line. The line was for those without reservations. - We got in after just a short wait. Our hotel in Florence, the Best Western Fleming This is the view from our room at the hotel.
