Granite rock lines the valley hillside above the highway

Welcome to Yosemite National Park Natural rock tunnel just inside the entrance to the park The Merced River is flowing fast Larry next to the river One of many waterfalls seen in the hills above the highway
Another waterfall Our first stop was at Bridalveil Fall Lots of mist was generated from the fall At times you couldn't see the fall due to all of the mist
El Capitan, 7569 feet high, with another small fall seen off to the left. - This is the mountain that's a favorite of rock climbers. We couldn't find the name of this rock on any of the maps. We just called it 'Larry's Rock'. Looking north across the meadow to the granite walls that line Yosemite Valley Bill in front of Upper Yosemite Fall
