Our first sighting of Scotty's Castle

   
Scotty's Castle We drive east out of the park into Nevada heading for Beatty where we have reservations for the night. Monday, April 5 - After a pleasant evening in Beatty, where we had dinner with Walter, a friend from on line who - lives near by, a good night's sleep and delicious breakfast, we head back toward Death Valley.
We are starting to see lots of wildflowers. A rain shower moves through. It clears up and we get a mostly sunny day with lots of passing clouds.
