We're heading back to the train. Most of the mountain tops remained covered in clouds as we traveled through the Rockies We sure enjoyed some beautiful scenery!

This is our final mountain view as we leave the Rockies. Here you see a good view of our entire train as we head out onto the prairie. - Our train has three engines and 22 cars, including four dome cars. We have dinner just before pulling into Edmonton. The Edmonton VIA Rail station is a few miles from downtown out near the - Municipal Airport. Here is our view of the Edmonton skyline. Bill is talking with John and Gaylord in the lower level lounge of the Park Car.

It's Thursday morning, May 24. We've passed through all of Saskatchewan overnight and - are now in western Manitoba. This is a grain elevator, which we see many of along the tracks. In Winnipeg, Manitoba, we have a forty-five minute stop. - This is a shot of the beautiful dome of Union station. We take a stroll outside and get a view of the station exterior.
