May 22, 5:32 pm, The Canadian, VIA Rail train number 2 - for Toronto, pulls out of the station in Vancouver. Iain joins us in the Park Car. This is our room for the trip-Room A, Car 222. First call for dinner.  Andriana was the friendly maitre d'. Waiting for the first course
We're having dinner with Eric and Larry.  The food was delicious! Once we're a few miles out of Vancouver, the - snow covered peaks can easily be seen in the distance. The long shadows of the setting sun and the snow covered peaks. The setting sun turns the mountains to gold. Wednesday morning, May 23, on the far eastern side of British Columbia.
Check out the snow covered peaks as we climb slowly into the Canadian Rockies! Some high peaks of the Canadian Rockies in eastern British Columbia.
