We stop in Hackberry for drinks and sightseeing at the old general store.
We took Interstate 40 from Kingman, Arizona to Needles, California. - When we got off the highway to get our hotel room we were back on - old Route 66. This is the lobby of our Best Western Hotel in Needles. Monday, April 15, we leave Needles and cross the Mojave Desert on I-40. If you look closely you can see mountains in the distance, but the gusty - wind is blowing up clouds of dust giving us poor visibility. You can see the dust clouds in the distance.
