As we continue on the Lewis and Clark Highway we follow the Lochsa River through the Clearwater National Forest.

We've climbed to 6,236 feet at Lolo Pass, the state line between Idaho and Montana. Bill talks to a couple of bicycle riders from Arizona who are on a two month ride through the Northwest. We leave the parking lot of the Visitors Center, turn east and enter Montana. Some interesting rock formations.  Note the climbers at the top of the rocks. A shower brings us a brilliant rainbow June 19: The town of West Glacier at the entrance to Glacier National Park The Road To The Sun through Glacier National Park is still closed due to snow. - We have to take U.S. Route 2 along the south edge of the park to East Glacier. We stop at a scenic overlook and find this sign about mountain goats.
