Exiting I-80 for Emeryville We're on the train heading for Reno. This is a view of Mt. Tamalpais in Marin County as seen from the train. - It was a rather gray, hazy day with little sun. Richmond BART station Approaching the Carquinez Bridge that spans the Carquinez Strait. - Interstate 80 goes over the bridge between Crockett and Vallejo.
The bridge directly above us is the new span that replaced a very old span carrying - westbound traffic. An older section is behind it and carries the eastbound traffic. Looking north across the Carquinez Strait as we pass a barge and tug boat. Looking ahead at the Benicia-Martinez Bridge that carries Interstate 680. Old steam locomotive at the Martinez station
