July 8 -- We arrived at our home for the next four days, the EconoLodge in Portland We were about a mile and a half northeast of downtown Portland. We set - out for a walk and passed the Rose Quarter, an arena for sports and concerts. The towers of the Oregon Convention Center The east end of the Broadway Bridge Crossing the bridge, we see the city light rail cars and several train lines below it.
