We're going to drive out to that lighthouse next. This is the lighthouse that you saw before from a distance. The ocean was a beautiful turquoise.
Some of the coastal mountains as seen from the road. March 31 - The next morning we notice these interesting cloud formations. We're now on the south side of the island looking at - the Spouting Horn Blow Hole that's west of Poipu. The waves come in under the lava rock and the water - shoots up into the air through a hole in the lava.  Much of the coast here is lined with lava rock.
Hanapepe River Canyon as seen from a roadside overlook. The swinging foot bridge across the Hanapepe River in the town of Hanapepe. Larry even walked out on the bridge after Bill promised not to make it swing. A path through sugarcane to a local swimming hole and waterfall. There were lots of lava rocks to walk over.
