Stonehenge is not way out in the country by itself. Two major highways pass right by it.

This stone is in line with the rising sun seen through the main arch of Stonehenge on the first day of summer.
An artist's drawing of what Stonehenge would look like if all put together. We leave Stonehenge and head for the town of Salisbury. This is probably - the smallest roundabout seen during our trip, and we saw hundreds of them. We arrive in Salisbury with the steeple of the city cathedral in the distance Salisbury Cathedral
A sun dial spotted on the wall of a building near the cathedral. We head downtown to find some lunch. We find more beautiful flowers. We enjoyed a nice lunch here at the Cross Keys Restaurant A colorful display of flowers in the roundabout seen as we leave Salisbury
