Thursday, August 18 -- We departed for our tour of Ireland. Our first - stop was the Irish National Stud Farm and Japanese Gardens. Our guide for the tour of the stud farm Some of the studs on the farm A special breed of half-height horses. These are not Shetland Ponies.
The top stud at the farm is Invincible Spirit who has won many races. This is Invincible Spirit, who is insured for six million euros. There were beautiful flowers all around the stud farm.
Now for a walk through the Japanese Gardens. After leaving the stud farm and gardens, our tour director introduced - us to a song we would hear daily while in Ireland. We even had the - words on a banner at the front of the coach so we could sing along. Part of a ruin seen along the roadway
