We begin our drive into the highlands.

 
This is heather, which grows wild all over Scotland. We are now winding through the hills. Watch out for the cyclists.
We went through a shower, messing up the windshield for our photos. This is our stop for lunch at the Fife Arms in the town of Braemar. The soup here was excellent!
Back on the road, we drive along a pretty river. We climb higher into the highlands. Yes, we're going over that bridge in our coach!
