We arrive at our hotel, the Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge.

We wandered around the south bank of the Thames Saturday evening. - Here's a close up view of the huge London Eye ferris wheel. The water spray in this fountain changes frequently allowing people to run inside the walls of water. London's National Theatre Building The Giraffe is where we had dinner. We were out on the patio until rain came and we had to move inside. Note the direction that this carousel is turning... clockwise. It's the reverse from what we see in the U.S.
The view across the Thames at sunset. Looking east from the Westminster Bridge An evening view of the Parliament and Big Ben from the south end of Westminster Bridge This is our suite at the Park Plaza Hotel Sunday, August 7 -- we head out for a view of London. Here we're on the escalator leaving St. John's Wood station.
Our first stop is Abbey Road, made famous by the Beatles. These are the Abbey Road Studios where the Beatles recorded several of their albums. Just a few feet away from the studios is the crosswalk seen on the front of the Abbey Road album. - As you can see, there were lots of people there and here Bill makes the must-do walk. Now it's Larry's turn to cross the road. Our next stop is Regent Street, one of London's main shopping areas. - It's interesting that one of the first stores we spotted was Apple.
